Everything! The property has been freshly renovated, with all the facilities and cooking equipment you’ll ever need while away from home. The bed was very comfy and the bedroom view overlooking the sea is just incredible. I incidentally woke up at 4am and caught the sunrise, it was an amazing thing to see directly from the bedroom window without having to get up. If you are considering booking this property, just do it, you will not regret it!

This was a last minute booking on an unfamiliar location. We'll definitely be back. This is a lovely cottage well fitted out, would be cozy for four but plenty of room for the two of us. Kitchen well equipped and the lounge and bedroom comfortable. the garden was a bonus surprise, great view from the top and a summerhouse to sit out in, not that we got the weather for that but it's a great option. Portsoy is an excellent location for exploring the area.

It was an excellent location with a spectacular view of the shore from the dining table window and two top quality restaurants specialising in seafood nearby. Nice walks along the waterfront to the marina. Ideal location for exploring the north east coastal villages and coastline.

The new kitchen is amazing . Very sociable and well fitted. As a group of 6 ladies, we spent a lot of time sitting around the dining table. Perfect location for golf in Banff. Great for coastal walks and nice restaurants and shops in the area. The garden would have been great for sitting out but the weather didn’t allow that.

These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
On arrival from the outside it was very deceiving in size it looked very small until you experience the inside and how large it is. It’s a very clean & comfortable hotel.
Despite being a bit old-fashioned, the hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, from the greeting and booking in on arrival to the housekeeping and waiting teams. The breakfasts were delicious, as were the evening meals on offer, especially the beer battered haddock!
Portsoy is a beautiful place.
The hotel was really nice, the room very clean. Breakfast was delicious too. Special mention to the staff who were really nice and happy to chat. We also forgot 2 personal items in the room and they went above and beyond to get them back to us! We are really grateful.

Homely hotel, very clean throughout the hotel. Exceptionally friendly staff, so helpful and the service at meals times was excellent. Good choice of food at breafast and dinner and plentiful. Room fairly basic but comfortable and a good size. Everything provided for a relaxing stay!
The property was very clean with hand sanitisers available in the bar, lounge and stairways. Bedroom was spacious with views to the sea. Comfortable bed, small television but adequate and daily cleaning of room leaving it fresh. Breakfast and dinner meals of high quality and well presented. Staff were all very friendly and informative of local events.
