We liked being upgraded to a larger room than the one advertises on Booking.com. Also the property was located within a five minute walk of the town, and opposite the sea front which was ideal for us. Also, we had off road parking.

The house was really close to Cheddar and we were able to do the caves and gorge walk without driving which made the whole experience a lot simpler. The house was beautiful and the folding doors onto the garden were stunning when opened. Everything was easy to find and use. The information provided by the host was really helpful about the local area.

The is a truly amazing little property and a great find. The pictures do not do this property justice. The downstairs open plan kitchen/ diner/ lounge space is larger than expected and is more than big enough for a solo stay or for a couple. There is ample plates, bowls and kitchen equipment to be able to rustle up food without the need to bring anything with you. The small little things make the difference and there is clearly alot of thought gone into the whole property. The bathroom and bedroom are of very good size with enough storage to be able to settle in like being at home.
With Cheddar being only 10 - 15 mins away and Axbridge only 5 minutes this place is located in a great location. There is a pub 2 minutes walk away with 2 more further up the road. The road this place is situated on can be quite busy during the day, but at night is calm and didn't affect our sleep at all.
The outside space has seating and tables which we unfortunately could not utilise due to the weather.
The communication from Jo and Kenny has been amazing right from the start and throughout our stay.

Lovely property in a great location. Beautifully appointed and well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Gill and Seamus are perfect hosts, very friendly and accommodating.
The cottage has been finished to a very high standard. It was spotlessly clean and very cosy.
The breakfast items, tea, coffee and milk were a real bonus. We will definitely be back.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
lovely welcome, room clean, but overall hotel needs a refurb/updating. Food at all times was good.
All staff were very friendly and helpful. All areas of hotel were clean
Had treatments booked in the spa. We were supposed to have treatments at the same time but as a member of staff was unwell we had to go separately which meant we had time on our own. Pool/spa area very clean.

The breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful. The swimming pool was excellent and very clean, again the staff were very helpful and pleasant.
The views from the lounge terrace were lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful (in particular, the lady who served us in the restaurant) and the hotel was very clean
It was set in an amazing area, very clean and most welcoming.
It was warm and comfy in our room and quiet.
Slight problem for us was the signage for our room, difficult to find however the staff were so helpful to us.all staff were brilliant, food excellent, can’t fault it.
The staff were lovely and couldn't do more for you, always ready to help in any way they could - especially the bar and restaurant staff. The room was well equipped and very clean.
