Perfect location. Close to the A1 for a stop off yet it seemed a world away. Michelle, the host, was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location, we stayed at Acorn Lodge while exhibiting at the Yorkshire Show which is only a 10 minute drive away.
Lots of rooms, bathrooms, plenty of space and so close to where we needed to go. A big ASDA only 3 minute drive away made life even easier. Everything we needed was provided including hangers and a hairdryer in the bedroom.

We stayed in the farmhouse as a group of 14 for a Hen Party and it was brilliant. Spacious, comfortable rooms, all the facilities you would need and a wonderful garden out the back. The perfect weekend!

Very well done recent refurbishment, for example small desk in each bedroom, very comfortable sofa, comfortable beds, outdoor table and chairs. Very clean.
Close to central York
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
peaceful, calm and relaxing.
we were in “an apartment” which was very good indeed.
It was very clean and as we were self catering there was a shop minutes away.
Very clean, comfortable, everything you need in your room, lovely room very spacious, great value for money. Great breakfast choice and cooked to perfection. very friendly owners who were very helpful. Good location and nice village pubs near by with good food. Definitely go back
The room was lovely, it was big, comfortable, very clean and well presented. Breakfast was really good, plenty of choice and cooked perfectly. The location is great, we wanted to go into York and used the park and ride which was close
to the accommodation. There are also several pubs/restaurants close by.
The Studio is ideal for anyone wanting to prepare their own breakfast and not to have a full English B&B and it has all the basics for that. Very clean, pleasant room in a lovely house in a lovely village, but there's no pub there any more so you'll need to drive to get a drink.
