It was lovely to be welcomed by the owner on my arrival. It was helpful being shown round the property and having an explanation of how the heating worked if it was needed.
It was helpful to hear about the local area with suggestions of places to visit. Bude was highly recommended and it didn't disappoint!!
I had a thoroughly enjoyable, relaxing stay.
Will definitely consider returning.

The property was amazing lots of character and was a lovely size We liked that they had built in stair gates at the bottom and top of the stairs and everything was clean and it had a lovely cosy feel to it, the whole location was beautiful and the grounds are amazing my favourite was the pool area a nice size pool which was lovely and warm as heated also around the pool it had comfortable chairs to chill out on, also a bonus dog friendly as well. Would definitely stay here again. Also we didn’t know they do Weddings and the new building to do them inside is amazing. Staff absolutely fantastic.

We often stay at Penstowe as the oh fishes at Tamar lakes regularly, so the position of the park is great for him, and I can get everywhere I want to go easily.
The property has been decorated to a lovely standard.It was very clean and comfortable . It had everything you could possibly need for your stay .

Really easy to find, chalet is very clean and quite spacious. All the facilities and bits you need to live there. The chalet has recently been decorated and the bathroom is almost finished. Fully functional though. Everything is simple. Plenty of cutlery, plates, a really nice induction hob as well. Its quiet on the site and very relaxing. Beds are superb as well.
This property is ideal for a family holiday. There were only four us us but it does sleep six. There are two showers which was a godsend for us with two teenage daughters and plenty of towels. The bungalow was very clean and the welcome pack provided by Cath was just lovely after a long drive. It is 5 miles from Bude which we visited every day to use Sunmerleaze beach. There are two pubs and a Co-op nearby. We would definitely recommend this bungalow to any family wanting to visit the area.
Lovely chalet, very clean and contained everything we needed. Even towels were provided which was a huge plus. The rooms were spacious and plenty of storage.
It was a lovely little chalet which suited the needs of my daughter and I very well. Everything worked fine and it was very clean and modern.
The indoor swimming pool was lovely to swim in, the bar family friendly and staff very welcoming to a single mum and her little girl. The entertainment on the Friday evening was classically British, the kids loved the games of musical bumps etc and I certainly enjoyed the large gin selection.
Overall it was a lovely little place for our holiday which didnt damage the bank too badly.
It is a fantastic holiday home. The décor is put together with so much attention to detail and incredibly good taste. Absolutely clean - no dirty corners. I`ve really enjoyed my stay so much. I don't really like these cottages. Mostly they smell musty and have this 80s charm. But here's none of that! It is really very elaborately and luxuriously renovated. I suspect that no other place of my stay in the UK can top that.
