The historic manor is a unique location. The massive garden is wonderfully kept and beautiful. The Apartment is absolutely special with among others ancient stone flooring, well-equipped and very big kitchen, very stylish bathroom and many more. Also, it is huge. For our needs - to access Dartmoor - it was an ideal location. We arrived and went to the nearby house to meet the owner and collect the keys. A truly lovely man - the perfect host - explaining all we needed to know, then departing so we could have the much needed cup of tea, but assuring us he was at hand if needed. The cottage itself was lovely. Clean, light, and certainly spacious enough for the three of us (and I'm sure four), with all the equipment/facilities we'd need. With a secluded area of garden as well as a balcony to enjoy the outdoors. And of course, mustn't forget the hot tub, which Steve fired up for us after a hard day on Saturday. We were in it for hours.
