The Bolt Hole is a lovely property set in a peaceful location with sea views. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The furnishings are lovely and fitting with the coastal views. The host, Tiffany was extremely friendly and helpful with excellent communication. The bed was very comfortable, with super soft bedding. We only stayed one night whilst visiting the Hide & Fox for lunch, but we would have booked a second night immediately, had it have been available. Cannot recommend this property enough and we will definitely be staying here again when we next visit.

Absolutely stunning house in a brilliant location right on the seafront at Sandgate.
The house has everything you could want or need for a large family group (as we were) or multiple families with free parking on the road right opposite the house.
Inside the house is decorated and furnished to a very high standard and all the equipment you could need (dishwasher, washing machine, large double fridge freezer and an extra small freezer, loads of crockery - inc plastic for the kids! TV in most bedrooms, lots of USB ports).
All the bedrooms are bright, airy and really good size (with at least one en-suite); topped off with the most incredible family bathroom!
All in all an amazing place to stay!

Amazing location, close to harbour arm, very clean and stylish, has everything you need, you can book with family or friends but keep things respectful. Nice garden area, two lounges, kitchen is fully stocked with useful things, provided towels, nice Proseco and shortbread as gifts, constant communication with Ralph and William who own the house. The cottage was extremely well presented and clean throughout. You could tell a great deal of thought had been put into designing and equipping the cottage to provide everything their guests would need. The views from the cottage were over rolling countryside yet it was conveniently located. The host was friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely stay again the next time we’re in the area.

The hosts were incredibly helpful both in advance with queries and when we arrived at the hotel- their recommended restaurant did not disappoint.
The reception area looked a little worn but the room was very comfortable, very clean with super fresh bedding and towels.

Staff were super helpful and friendly. Very clean. Comfortable. In the morning the team packed us our breakfast to take with us because we were leaving early. Faultless service. The gentleman on the front desk on 3/8/24 was so lovely to our little boy.
Very clean room and bathroom. We could take our dog with us and had room at the end of the hallway. The hotel workers offered to pack our breakfast for the journey (as we were leaving before breakfast serving).
The stay was amazing you wake up every morning to loads of birds outside in the garden and you can relax in a hot tub watching them and at night time you can see so many stars while relaxing in the garden. It’s a nice quiet area and all the facilities were brilliant. the hosts were great, they left us contact numbers and a booklet to help us if we had any problems with anything. It’s a beautiful little holiday home, very clean. We would definitely stay here again.
