Truly a lovely vacation home. Quiet, clean, with secure parking and beautiful surroundings. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the house was fully kitted out with everything one would need. We only stayed one night, but will plan to stay longer next time we're in the area. Excellent value for money.

On arrival we were met by the host who was absolutely amazing. She showed us around the Bothy and she had kindly arranged some fresh milk, eggs and a welcome pack for us which was really thoughtful and kind. She explained everything and was so welcoming. The Bothy itself was really cute and had everything we needed.
The bedroom was lovely and cozy. It had black out blinds and the bed was very comfy.
The bathroom was lovely and the entire decor of the Bothy was really warm and cozy.
The kitchen/living room was nice and spacious and had a fridge and dishwasher which was really handy.
The host talked us through the welcome pack which contained lots of information about local attractions, walks, food and drink, local shops, health care if needed etc.
It also detailed how to use the oven which was really handy.
The location itself was perfect, surrounded by woodland and fields. On site there was a small wood (Papple Wood). Which we enjoyed walking through every day.
Absolutely brilliant holiday and accommodation and host! We would definitely stay again

This is a little goldmine. The place has been decorated to a very high standard. Location is close to lots of interesting places. Staff are amazingly helpful. Some beautiful places to walk a dog in the local area. Extremely dog friendly, he even got his own welcome pack which included a bowl, a towel and poo bags. The welcome pack we received was fresh milk, eggs, tea / coffee, home made jam, cakes and chocolate.

Beautiful presented little property. Perfect for a short break. Superb access to both Edinburgh, and the coast and countryside.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Lovely little place to stay , very clean and comfortable, bathroom absolutely beautiful with double ended bath. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Staff very friendly
We stayed in the self-catered cottage which was very clean and spacious with lovely bathrooms. Power showers and large baths made it feel luxurious, with clean towels and bathroom essentials. The heating worked well so the place was very cosy. Dinner and drinks at the pub were really good, great menu and delicious home-cooked food. Really cosy, lovely old pub with an open fire and it was dog friendly.
