it’s a beautiful cottage, filled with thoughtful additions to make our stay enjoyable. Matt and Ginny left Derbyshire pancakes and honey for us, as well as tea, milk, coffee …and a coffee machine. We all loved the hot tub, and the special towels and slippers made it extra special. My daughter arrived first, on foot in the dark and was a little lost, but Matt rang her to help her find her way and met her at the cottage. Lots of logs, comfy beds and squishy carpets made this a lovely place to stay and we would happily return. our dog doesn’t go on sofas etc but there are rugs just to protect little furry friends, as well.

This is a wonderful cottage in a lovely small village, convenient to many great hikes in the Peak District. The owner was very helpful during our stay. I honestly don't think I have ever stayed in a rental that was so clean and pristine--the care put into maintaining this property is exceptional.

Clean, airy and great location to where we wanted to be. Well equipped with everything you need for a break away from home. As we were all adults enough room to get away from each other, and enough room to have a great time. Louise was really helpful and I'm sorry for the negative bits but these are just our thoughts. We will be back as it is so central and easy to access all of the peak district. Great value for money.
