The cottage is in a lovely location. The cottage itself is perfect for a family of 4 for a trip away. The hosts were on hand for any information or help but you couldn't ask for any more information the host was excellent with advice of the local area and further. Will definitely be back in the future.

The garden is beautiful and loved the sound of the babbling brook at the end of the garden. The upstairs was light and airy with fabulous views. Very clean and with lovely decor.

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
It was very clean, beautiful, had all the amenities, close to country pub/ restaurants. Also, Lauren is an amazing host and very thoughtful to have organised the house so well. All the 4 of us had a great stay.
The purpose of our family trip to the lake district was to summit Scafell Pike which we did successfully. On arrival to the cottage it was very clean and tastefully decorated. The cottage was an approximate 45 mins from Scafell, ideal location for us. The cottage is positioned in an old mining village built at the turn of the century. The cottage is walking distance from a reasonably sized co-op and whilst we didn't visit them, numerous take away restaurants close by. If my memory serves correctly, 9 within a minutes walk and 1 pub.
The cottage was fantastic, very clean, comfortable and cosy, Alison had left a lovely welcome package, for us and our dog, it was very centrel for all the places we wanted to visit , we will be booking again
the property was very clean and tidy as soon as we walked through the door. as I understand, the owners are having some work done on the property but apart from a few minor cosmetic issues, the property was definitely great value.
