What a find! The accommodation itself is excellent, but the location makes it absolutely outstanding. The view across the loch from the balcony and the little jetty down at the water's edge is really something special. Three nights was nothing like long enough, and we found it hard to leave. I was with my partner and her father, who come from a landlocked part of Germany, and they couldn't have been more delighted with the place. Absolutely superb. I've been recommending the house, and Melfort resort more generally, to friends and family ever since we arrived there.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The houses are comfortable and very clean. Everything works and is well thought of. The owners are welcomjng and friendly
My children loved the hill and the beach and being able to roam around in their own among the sheep and the rabbits!
