The Cottage is located in a beautiful part of Northern Ireland. Just 15 mins from town, it was the perfect place to take some ‘time out’. Lynda is a brilliant host with excellent communication. Fabulous little cottage not far from Castlewellan town centre. Overlooks Slieve Donard and the Mounes its so beautiful! Very cosy and lovely decor inside with all the amenities you could need and a very comfy bed. TVs in the bedroom and the kitchen/diner area are smart tvs so you can watch whatever you like if the weather isn't great to go exploring. It says no WiFi on the facilities but there is which was a bonus. Hot tub was fabulous. Thank you to Vince for a warm welcome and lovely stay!

I booked this stay for me and my husband for his birthday! It was absolutely perfect, couldn't fault it in any way! The location is perfect as located just 2mins from Newcastle Main street of a quiet country road so we a great nights sleep. The superking bed was so comfortable with mountain views I actually felt like I was in a luxury hotel!The house has a gorgeous outdoor seating area and garden overlooking the river and stunning mountain views from the front of the property!We hiked Slieve Donard on Day 2 which was just 5minutes drive and coming home and relaxing in the evening sun to the sounds of the birds and the riverside was just magical! We will definitely be returning!The hosts were lovely too and left us a personalised welcome hamper which was a beautiful touch!Great value for what you get!
