Hosts have thought of everything you could possibly ever need for a short stay. Perfect location only a few minutes from Landmark where we took our grandchildren. Weather was atrocious with flooding at the time of our visit however, we were kept warm and cosy due to the plentiful supply of both wood and coal for the open fire and 2 logburners in the property. Beds were extremely comfortable and warm with electric under blankets if needed. We had a slight issue with the dishwasher, which we managed to resolve after a quick call to the owners. Good quality appliances throughout the property. Only 1 minor niggle and I am being very picky here! The taps on the kitchen sink could do with being taller so you don't have to empty the basin to allow the kettle to be filled.
Beautiful, well priced cottage and with plenty of room for 8 guests without feeling on top of each other. Highly recommended.

Lovely scenery. Lots of wildlife and ducks. Staff were very nice. Lodge was a little dated in parts but still perfectly comfortable and very clean. Pool was great. Superb and quiet location, ideal for exploring the nearby walks and mountain bike trails. Lodge was very clean and contained everything we needed - even down to a morning delivery of ducklings on our doorstep. Only saw two members of staff - check in and check out - but both very nice and helpful. We booked at quite a low price so happy with the cost.
The cabins are beautiful and in excellent condition. The kitchen and bathroom have been remodelled and are very well maintained. The beds are good, and everything is very clean.
The area around the cabins is beautiful. The path around the lake is gorgeous, and the natural world is amazing. There is a nice little playgruond for the little one.
The whole area surpassed my expectations. I had read all the reviews so was not expecting what we arrived to tbh. Very clean cabin! Comfy beds! Well equipped! Ample towels and even washing up liquid. Very peaceful…overall a lovely couple of nights. Even looking at taking extended family later in the year.
