I stayed at Nutshell for 2 nights with 2 teenage children. The cottage felt like a home away from home. It had everything we needed. The location was good, close to everything in Seaton. Communication with the hosts was easy, Nancy always replied almost immediately.

Historical building, very quirky and surprisingly big, set in the village and in lovely surroundings. The beds were comfortable and the hosts was helpful and accommodating. The ground floor bedroom was perfect for my elderly parents. We all enjoyed our stay.

Check in easy, breakfast excellent, dinner excellent, room not upgraded as promised by Booking.com. The room we had was very cold and was quite small. The shower room was very clean and was well designed plenty of room for your wash bag etc.
We did a last minute short break as the weather was excellent, the roads to Branscombe are a challenge and buses and tractors add a lot of excitement. The Masons was superb the rooms are really well decorated and in excellent condition and very clean. The food was also superb we had the Sunday roast beef which packs the place out even in the evening. All the staff were very helpful and genuinely friendly.
Room large and very clean with comfy bed. Breakfast hamper was a bonus and set us up for the day. We loved eating at the pub and the fact we were close enough to walk to the beach
The accommodation was very characterful and finished to a high standard. The room was very clean and well appointed. The full English breakfast was excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly.
We will definitely be returning and would have no issue with recommending a stay here to family and friends.
