Room very clean, bed comfortable. New management just taken over and whilst there are some shortcomings as mentioned in my review, if in the area again I would return to see the planned improvements which would certainly address them.

We felt very comfortable in this very stylish and respectfully renovated house. It was very clean, cosy and the breakfast was very good with a lot of variety and high quality fresh products. It's really very quiet. A half-hour walk through the fields took us to an excellent pub. We particularly liked the owners' sense of humour. Look out for the mousehole with the elephant.

Firstly, the host Nicky was super friendly and welcoming. Secondly, the facilities were very clean, location was perfect as it was rural and away from the city. The cottages are only a short drive away from town for essentials or local restaurants which is ideal. The cottages have everything you need and felt very much like home. We had an amazing time, and are looking forward to staying here in the near future!
