The location was amazing, close to Bordeaux, five minutes by car from a supermarket, but it was still in a countryside location.
Sophie, the host, was friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome.
The apartment was fabulous, if you want peace and quiet, you'll be happy, I'm a very fussy sleeper as I sleep so lightly, and even with the ceiling fan on I could sleep, it was a remote controlled one and very quiet.
A fairly busy road was close by, but I didn't hear a peep from it until the morning rush hour.
The walk in shower was lovely, much appreciated, and the outdoor decking area was a nice place to take breakfast or sit for the evening, we arrived late, so a cup of coffee out there was all we had at night.
The accommodation included a cooker and a hob, a toaster, microwave and a kettle. There was nothing missing. I would definitely stay again.

The staff and owner of Château Gassies made me feel like I was here on holiday, while I was here for business! An exceptionally gorgeous location, tastefully decorated rooms and facilities and a staff that clearly takes pride in their top notch level of service and dedication to their profession. If you are in the Bordeaux region and you want a place to come to rest and indulge in quaint, classic French luxury - Château Gassies is the place for you. I will be visiting again as a tourist next time.

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The house is very clean, comfortable well equipped and the owner kept in good contact with me. Check in was easy and the owner was very accommodating about the times, allowing us extra hours at the property. The house is only 5 or 6 stops from the centre and the bus stop is really close.The house is very attractive with a small outside seating area.
We loved staying here! Marion (our host) was very warm and was kind enough to upgrade us into a separate apartment. It was so well equipped with places to unpack, facilities and tools to make the stay convenient like scissors, iron, hair dryer, candles, extra linen, a clothes airer, shoe storage and more. It was easy to get around from, being just a short walk from a tram stop too. In addition, the bed was comfortable and everything was very clean - two of my non-negotiables when travelling. I would 10/10 recommend this place!

For one person, the room was spacious enough, had a nice queensize bed and was very clean. The hotel is located close to a nice park but also to the tram station, supermarkets and restaurants. The breakfast offered is good but a little limited on the savoury side.
