the location was right in the thick of things, making it easy to get to shopping and restaurants. . This is a bonus for convenience, but a bit noisy and bright during the evening.

Le petit moulin is an extremely characterful, fun, interesting and unusual accommodation option. It's newly built to a high standard. It was perfect for us, a family with one child, with a double bedroom and a sofa bed in the large top room. We stayed for one night on the way back to the ferry at Caen, and we'll be back, and we hope to stay longer next time. There is plenty of free parking on site next to the mill. Everything was provided (tea, coffee, linen, towels, fridge, cooking facilities). Maybe the best part was the animals - we had great fun feeding food scraps to the goats and hens, and saw hares in the field.

The property was easy to find and provided very convenient off road parking right outside the door. The local area was very quiet and picturesque. The location was ideal for visiting not only the D Day sites but also the beautiful town of Bayeux and had good road links to the wider area including the city of Caen (which has a direct rail link to Paris). Overall it was an ideal base for anyone wanting to visit the D Day beaches, war memorials, picturesque rural hamlets and the wider area of Normandy.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
A Beautiful quiet place with a lovely garden. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was served in the lovely surroundings of the kitchen in the main house. The hostess was a very wonderful, sweet and smiling woman. The location was great, close to all the attraction. We had a lovely stay in Normandy thanks to this lovely B &B .
