We stayed here for two nights during the Almond Blossom Festival in Tejeda. We had a great stay here. The unit is beautiful, San Mateo is very charming, and there is a great bakery directly across the street. We had dinner twice as Tasco Baco — highly recommend. We stayed here the beginning of February and were not cold like others mentioned.

The location is very good, in quiet and peaceful countryside, yet convenient, only 30m driving to the capital and near nice hiking trails. The host is very considerate, helpful, and kind. He replied promptly on WhatsApp whenever we need any help and generously gave us home grown fruits, which all very tasty. The house is in excellent condition, perfectly clean, and fully equipped. The surrounding floral garden is very lovely, too. We also love it when the host's cute dogs welcomed us with excitement. The pool is small, but it was refreshing to take a little swim there after breakfast.

Amazing place and great host, Pepa greeted us with a smile and an excellent bottle of wine. We felt at home during our stay, the house itself has a great bbq area as well as an amazing pool. Very comfortable beds. Great place to lose track of time and spend your holiday.
