When visiting Simancas to work a few day in the archives i was happy to stay in this location. It's very well situated, close to the castle.
The appartment is spacious and nicely renovated.

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Super straight forward. No need to have anyone waiting for you makes the check-in process a lot smoother. Apartment was very clean and tidy and we had the essentials (dishes, glasses, cutlery) and when one is travelling with little ones those are superb! Aircon on the spacious rooms worked like a charm. It is a must during summer time, location is unparalleled!
Hotel is close to the centre and in very walkable distance. We had the family rooms, found both to be very clean and beds comfortable.
You do need to drive through a pedestrian street to get to the hotel and car park and to park the car you need to get the car into a car lift . Depending on the time of day , it can be tricky to reverse in and out with people walking behind you.
Once in, it’s easy to park and get the lift to reception.
The staff speak enough English to communicate and are very friendly.
