The house was very well equipped (washing machine and tumble dryer ,jacuzzi ) and everything very comfortable. Perfect for a vacation, definitely to repeat and not want to leave. Aldo the owner recommend Bar Abreu with the typical Canarian food for dinner (included a goat meat) . We went 3 times ,always the food was delicious and staff very helpful .

This is not a good choice if what you are looking for is the typical by the beach, noisy, touristy place. BUT if you like nature, peace and quiet then this is an awesome place to stay. The house was super clean, everything was new and the owners were very very friendly. I really felt that they were genuinely interested in making sure everything works out nice for us. You do need a car to have simple logistics but then again, part of the appeal is the fact that this home is outside of the typical touristy places. With a car you have the beach within 20 min drive and the mountains literally in your backyard. Would stay here again for sure!

Lovely stay as Casa Rosalia! Hosts were very communicative and late check-in was easy the night we arrived. The location of the house is amazing, tucked in a valley near Garachicho. Quite steep roads getting to the property and narrow streets, but if you are visiting north Tenerife you have to get used to this quickly! Peaceful location perfect to sit out and enjoy the terrace and cook outside using the outdoor oven. Property itself was clean, characterful and full of everything you need for a homestay inc fully equipped kitchen. We stayed in January, so it was a bit colder than in the south, especially higher up above sea level. Heaters and blankets were provided :). Location for exploring the North of Tenerife is good, especially the North West (Teno, Masca and Garachico, Icod), most within 40 minute drive :). Might be worth noting for other travellers that Teide is a fairly long drive as the two access roads up into the Caldera are a drive east or south before you can start going up!

Casa Colon is nice small villa with great atmosphere. We enjoyed using the grill. The villa is located in a rural area perfect for trekking, biking or car ride in the most beautiful part of Tenerife. The owner was very helpful and friendly, amongst other assisting with local transportation at pair pricing. I will certainly return.

A beautiful house in a wonderful, quiet location. If you go to Tenerife to relax and have a nice time in the surroundings of nature and a calm Canarian village, Casa Tia Tomasa is the place to go. The place is situated high above the coast, so you have all the views, without the fuss of a beach-side hotel resort. There is a terrace for a nice breakfast and a garden with a grill for a dinner. It's close to all the North-Western tourist spots at Tenerife (Teno, Masca, Cueva del Viento) although you will need to navigate mountain roads to get there. But hey, that's what you expect when going to Tenerife. It takes around an hour to drive to the Teide funicular. The drive to the house itself is a bit tricky, so it will help if you take it for the first time during the day.
