Everything! Communication with Mandy was 100% from the outset. I was worried with such a big (loveable / very well-behaved) dog we might get turned away as so often happens - exactly the opposite, we were welcomed with open arms (especially our lovely big Lab!) The furnishings are top rate and the bed/bedding better than a 5* hotel. The hot tub under the night sky without light pollution ensures you don't want to leave. We've already booked to return later this year :)

The cave and decor was amazing. A great mixture of 5 star boutique hotel and a cosy home. The pool area was stunning and with it being around a bend from our cave entrance it was a safe distance away for our toddler to play outside when we were lounging in the courtyard area. The play park area was a lovely touch and a winner with my son. The hosts, Shirley and Mark, were amazing. We were treated like friends and family and my three year old loved Shirley who would play with him in the play park! Nothing was too much for them and they made the holiday that bit more special.

It is a real cave house, a very original place to stay. It is really big, with very many rooms. It is clean, as clean as you can have such a big cavehouse. It is located in a small settlement of the main road, a very quiet location. The hostess does not speak English, but we communicated via google translate and it worked. Obviously parking is easy, there is a dedicated space, but lots of space around as well. All the rooms have very original decor. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom. There are cute kittens which come and ask for food. Also when using google maps there are two cuevas de la abuela, a 100km from each other. So tak care you choose the correct one.
