We loved meeting Estela and La Casita's decor is wonderfully imaginative. Guests write their names on a piece of marble which lives in a divider in the room so you can see where all the visitors have come from. The space was made warm and cosy by a pellet fire - we arrived on a cold, foggy day and it was a great place to spend the afternoon. The kitchen meant we could cook our own dinner on Sunday when all the restaurants are closed (although Estela also offered to give us a ride into Zaffaraya).

Great house in the nice village, a bit away from standard tourist places around Malaga. The house itself is both authentic and modern, perfectly clean with quite new equipment, located on a charming street. Top hosts. Would definitely come again!

I loved my stay at José and his wife's beautiful home in Salto Del Negro. The accommodation was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with two comfortable beds and a bed/couch, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. The BBQ and jacuzzi were great additions that enhanced our experience. José and his wife were incredibly kind and welcoming, offering us helpful suggestions on places to visit. Phenomenal location if you want isolated rural holidays. The dirt road to get there is a bit nerve wracking if you aren't used to that sort of driving!

Great holiday home. Perfect for our family of 11, with room for more. Very well equipped house, gorgeous pool. Host who made it clear he was contactable, we had everything we needed we didn't have to bother him. Thoroughly recommend.
If you want to be near the mountains and away from the main drag, then this will be perfect. It is a rustic Spanish hotel. No frills but great value for money. We didn't have breakfast but did opt for a room with a kitchenette. Very clean with lovely staff. The views are amazing.

Traditional Spanish hotel in a superb location overlooking the Andalusian mountains you feel very much part of the town of Alcaucin. Alfonso is the perfect host and gave us a free upgrade to a 2 bed apartment with great views. All very clean and the beds very comfy. Breakfast served by Alfonso is great value for money served on the Balcony with wonderful views sets you up for the day. A great place as a base within easy striking distance to the coast. We will certainly stay again.
It was a 10 experience! The owners are nice and friendly people.
-The pool area with the deck chairs was amazing, the place is quite and surrounded by privileged views of the mountain.
- Our room had small private porch where we could have rest.
- The breakfast is a must, we were served a kind of personalised buffet on a table on the terrace, that had the most amazing views of the surroundings.
-The beds are super comfy
- The bathroom/ toilet is very clean
- We could use the kitchen in case we needed to prepare something
We had a wonderful holiday at this delightful finca. The setting is beautiful, feels remote but not too far from lots to see and do. The cottage is very comfortable and fantastically well equipped, there was absolutely nothing we wished had been there. Monica and Christophe( manage the property) live next door and are the perfect hosts.
