We stayed for a week at the end of November as a group of 4 adults and a baby and were very impressed from the start. The hosts were so welcoming and had so thoroughly prepared the house, from turning on the heating, clean kitchenware to a cot with blanket for the little one.
The Mosel area is such a wonderful area to explore, even in November we enjoyed some good walking weather, castles and Christmas markets. The house itself is a stone’s throw away from the train station and trains come every half an hour in both the direction of Cochem and Koblenz.
As a foodie I would have to mention the smoked trout from the local Fischerei- best fish I’ve ever tasted, and the Reibekuchen at the Christmas market, made by the local hotel staff.
Would happily stay again and explore more.

The apartment was very clean and beautifull. Beautifull view of the Mosel. Close to town, could walk everywhere. Best time of our lives, will visit again.
A quick phone call on arrival and within minute our friendly host was showing us into the very clean, modern apartment which was well equipped for self catering. Shops are located close by which was important for us as we had cycled on our third day of 6 along the River Moselle and we had to get something for our evening meal. I would be more than happy to stay here again and recommend the apartment to anyone(except I would travel by car)
Fab small apartment in the other side of the river (so lovely and quiet) with easy walk over pedestrians bridge into town. Very comfortable, plenty of hot water and very clean - would stay again
