This place is more like a whole experience, and not just a place to stay. To reach it is around an hour mountainous walk after the road ends. They send someone to help you finding the place and help carry your bags. Mine were carried on the head of the person helping me, for one hour! I felt bad for bringing too much. A bag pack is highly recommended. You will be the only tourist in a very small town of around 10 houses. Lovely views and very quiet, except for when they play loud music in town, but mostly it is nice and peaceful. The people are super friendly and welcoming. If you do not speak Portuguese bring an offline translation app. I made some nice hikes to Lomo Branco and Ribeira Grande, all around 1.5 hour each way. It is quite basic, but just think about how difficult it is to reach the place and build a living there! These people deserve nothing but respect. How they build their lives and live independently and largely self-sustainable is amazing. Great opportunity to see another side of Cape Verde and help local communities. Anita is an amazing host and Arlinda can answer questions concerning the reservation and travels. Thank you both for your help and patience.

It's a very quiet and green place away from the nearby city of Porto Novo (2km away by foot), close to the ocean, the sandy beach and the sound of the waves. The flat has everything you may need to cook, live and sleep comfortably. The host, Anny, is always helping in case something would be needed. She brought us some fresh bread, gave us some cookies before a hike, organized hikes, gave tips, or even drove us to the city to shop, as we didn't have a car. She went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible, she was absolutely a true gem!

Wooden interior gave it a beachhouse optic, beautiful! Mosquito nets in the bedroom (door and window + below door), basic kitchen utensils, secluded at the beach far away from city, giving it a Robinson Crusoe vibe! So far so good.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Dinner on the upper balcony was delicious with everything made fresh on the premises. Breakfast was included and very abundant and delicious. Highly recommend this property.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff - Olavo & colleagues were great!! Very good breakfast. Tasteful room, very clean.
Dinner was also very good and not the „usual“ food. We loved that we could get filtered Water for free to reduce plastic waste
I had a great time at Kasa d'Vizin. The hotel is greatly located, surrounded by beautiful nature and a terrasse that gives you the feeling that you are in the middle of it. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Also the host was very helpful, kind and gave it a personal touch. The food was amazing, for a very fair price I got a three meal course that tasted awesome. Thank you!
Location is good: there are several restaurants/shops/atm’s at walking distance and it’s a good starting point location for several hikes. The owner is extremely friendly! I felt sorry I didn’t speak his languages, would’ve been nice to talk properly.
The room and bathroom are very clean and comfortable. Price-quality the best you will find in Paul I think!
Incredible location with gorgeous mountain views, very clean and comfortable rooms and amazing food! The team even went out of their way to accommodate for my friend's vegan diet and created some very delicious meals on short notice. Overall the perfect base for hikes around the area - highly recommended.
We had a really good stay at Oasis.
The hosts, Marco and Neusa are gorgeous. So helpful and friendly.
We enjoyed a pleasant room with sunny balcony with a beautiful view at the garden and nice chairs. The bed was great and also the shower ( warm and strong) all was very clean.
Oasis is close to restaurants, small shops and from the balcony you can hear the sea.
The WiFi is working more than good!
Modern well maintained and very clean apartment with spectacular view. Good restaurant with very friendly staff. Quiet at night. Good location to hike up to Cova Paul in less than 2 hours and descend again 1 hour, so no need to spend 1,5 hour in taxi. Fast private wifi. Very responsive owner. Public transport, shops and restaurants available within 100m. Lively rural area with sounds of local people and animals. Many payment options at checkout.
Vito is a great host! Always helpful and friendly. Misurino is discreet a and beautiful house, very well located in Paul’s valley. I loved the decorations, the colours and the cats :) and Vito’s breakfast is delicious! We stayed more days because we were so comfortable. The rooms are very clean and they had everything we needed. Grazie Vito! Baci
