This house is stunning. Superb. Very well stocked kitchen supplies, great bathrooms, excellent beds, wonderful views... Everything was so tastefully decorated and well thought through. All the appliances worked perfectly and the fireplace was a treat. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. So many windows in the house but very well placed giving you the feeling of privacy whilst enjoying incredible views. The small garden with a fruit orchard was pretty and the host welcomed us to take what we want from the veggies growing. Fabulous showers and toiletries. Information on how to use appliances/laundry/fire place etc was clear and accessible, and not overwhelming. Obviously very generous, kind and trusting people own this house. Would have loved to stay there, or live there even better! (The neighbour let us feed his chickens with our food scraps!)

We loved everything about this place especially the outdoor spa with a view of the inlet as well as the views of Adamsons Peak's snowy tops in the mornings. The fireplace was amazing as well as the little washing machine. Perfect set up for a comfortable & romantic few days away as a couple.

Everything about our stay at Maple Cottage exceeded expectations. The location is stunning, with views over the apple orchards, while the cabin is surrounded by grass and trees with a gorgeous courtyard out the back. Gerry, the host, has thought of everything one could want for a comfortable stay. There are many kitchen appliances, comfy sofas, nice shampoos in the shower, and soft, luxurious bedding. We also asked for a difficult breakfast (vegan/gluten free) and were provided with gluten free bread, vegan butter and cereal. Apples were left in the fridge to feed to the cows on the property, one of them a shaggy highland who ate out of our hands. We also ate one of the apples ourselves and it was delicious. Daffodils and camelias were left in vases around the place. Loved the whole experience🙏

Loved the view. Close to the Hotel for drinks and dinner. Very comfortable with all the necessities. Easy drive to get there from the Ferry with lots of places to stop and do things along the way. (Oysters, Beer & Cheese, Viewing spots).
Loved they were could bring our elderly dog instead of placing her in the kennel.
