Ithaca, hotel in Grafton

Ithaca is set in Grafton and offers a garden and barbecue facilities.

Ithaca is a gracious old home in a central location in Grafton NSW. The host is very generous and provided the ingredients for a lovely breakfast, bacon, eggs, bread and butter, milk of our choice and a range of jams and spreads. The house is well stocked with many extras like paper towel, extra toilet paper, large containers of body wash, shampoo and conditioner. There were racks of extra towels available for our use. The house is stunning, beautiful ceilings and timber floors, amazing antique furniture, There are two bathrooms, one is probably the loveliest bathroom I have seen, beautiful claw foot bath and antique fittings. Not mentioned in the description of the house is the fact that the second bathroom has a walk in shower which is important for us travelling oldies. A great base for us for the Jacaranda Festival.

Pillar to Coast, hotel in Grafton

Set in Pillar Valley, within 30 km of Saraton Theatre, Pillar to Coast offers accommodation with air conditioning. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking.

The perfect little stay, wish I could live there! I needed accommodation for a few days to have shelter from the rain and prep for an upcoming canoeing trip. The unit is a great size, cooking facilities meant I could eat at home. The living area felt homely and I enjoyed relaxing there. Good size little bbq outside to cook dins. The best part, large fenced in yard so I could have my dog there and she could easily go for a wander. Owners communicated wonderfully!

The room was very clean and fair sized for a single bed room, nicely appointed and well equipped, modernised and was happy upon entry. I was able to check-in at 21:00, later than my anticipated arrival..
