It is a place with character and soul which makes it stand out from other places and resorts on the island. Ruben and Som are great hosts. They are kind, attentive and always happy to help with anything you may need. They have workout and fitness area which we absolutely loved. The cafe is also fantastic and a great place to chill with a coffee and a book. Lovely staff. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommend.

The restaurant is only open in the morning and early evening but sells good food at a good price along with cold beers. The pier is walkable for very fresh seafood and some shops for basic supplies. There is a nice swimming pool and you can use the kayaks for free and bikes are for hire which you will need to go to the beach and explore the rest of the island. The resort is run by a lovely young lady and family and she can speak reasonable English for any advice and onward travel. We had a sea facing bungalow which was very spacious and room to hang your clothes. A large bathroom with a good hot shower. TV, fridge and kettle with 2 bottles of water provided daily The room was cleaned every 2 days (although bedding and towels not really necessary). We ended up staying a week longer than planned!
