Baan Calaee also has a beautiful garden, a peaceful place to relax. The location was a little out of the way from the main sights of town, but easily accessible for a few baht. We can only recommend this accommodation if you are looking for somewhere quiet and spacious.

The owner and staff make our stay at Ayutthaya perfect! They treat us with care to make sure we have got everything we need. Very helpful and makes our lives easier. They contacted local massage therapists to massage us at the accommodation, got us a boat tour along the river, booked us an amazing riverside restaurant with a discount and contacted a local taxi to take us to the airport with a cheap price. The breakfast is amazing! Our Ayutthaya trip could not be better without them! I will come back here and spread the word how amazing this place is!

I hired a bicycle from them for day 1 to see ruins on central island. Boonrod, the owner organised a boat trip to see 3 excellent ruins/shrines and day 2 I hired a motorcycle from them to go to Summer Royal Palace and ruins outside the central island. Room, good size, big bathroom, fridge, fan, wifi. Comfortable bed, water & toilet paper left outside door each day. Near night market and mini marts. Boonrod has excellent English. Highly recommend. Baan Tye Wang Guesthouse is just a 5-minute drive from tourist attractions like Chedi Srisuriyothai and the Royal Palace (Wat Mahathat). It is about a 2-hour drive from lively Bangkok and provides free parking. A charming place by the river. Cosy rooms with a lovely atmosphere. Very good and inviting sitting area. Simple breakfast.
