Relaxing House Koh Yao Yai features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Ko Yao Yai. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. All rooms are fitted with a balcony with garden views. Set in beautiful grounds, right in the centre of Koh Yao Yai so easy to explore all areas with a moped (which you can rent from here). Beautifully quiet, surrounded by nature and exceptionally clean and well furnished rooms, including fridge and kettle. Nice warm shower, effective air conditioning and a lovely balcony to the front and back of the room. Lady running it is a total sweetheart and always smiling and happy to help with anything you need. Even brought us a plate of fresh fruit and a breakfast pastry each morning. Resident cats are also super friendly (especially the white one, who I have named ‘Coconut’. Closest restaurant is about 3 mins drive on the moped so you do need means of transport to get around (same for anywhere on this island).

At the guest house, each unit has a private bathroom. very beautiful and peaceful setting. absolutely immaculate rooms. wonderful welcome from host (he and his wife are delightful people) they are so kind and attentive and treated us so wonderfully. chalet was very high spec, spotlessly clean and very modern. rooms are comfortable, shower is lovely (try the mist setting on the shower head - it was bliss) we were welcomed with a fresh coconut drink, they served us delicious fruit from their own garden (which is huge and absolutely gorgeous) breakfast was delicious and freshly made, if you mention a food you enjoy they surprise you with it - even after a hard days work. they are the loveliest couple. we would sit on the terrace at night and watch the fireflies dance over the acres of trees and sweet smelling flowers. the island itself is gorgeous and the restaurants nearby are very reasonable and delicious with very friendly staff. I would return to this place in a heartbeat. comfortable, secure very clean and very very peaceful. we definitely found a piece of heaven in Koh Yao Yai.

Owners are superfriendly, rooms are very clean and the bed is amazingly comfortable!

Guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. Fantastic host (Chai) who went above and beyond, helping us plan our activities, booking our onward travel and even arranging to mend my broken sandals! Comfortable rooms with a fridge, clothes hanging racks, air conditioning and a safe (and even a TV we didn’t use). Great breakfasts which set us up well for the day’s activities. Location was great away from the tourist hordes with easy access to a fantastic long tail boat tour of the bay (small groups at a great price), and plenty of great sights a short moped ride away (all arranged by Chai, who goes out of his way to make his guests experience great). Our favourite residence and host of our trip so far, highly recommended.
