Very modern, cozy apartment with amazing view at a perfect location for discover the area. We had the apartment with the view and sauna , best accomodation for 4 friends ever ! Everyone at Edelweis were extreme friendly, helpful and guest oriented.

The guest house is 1 km from Gozd-Martuljek. Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport is 55 km away. The host was exceptionally kind and helpful. The room was well equiped, nice looking, spacious. The bathroom was well lit and clean. We had a terrace were we could have our meals. The parking facilities were very good and there was a safe place for our bikes.

Standard breakfast; plus some good local smoked meats. Close to town center. Owners are very nice.

Garni Hotel Miklič is a 3-star hotel located amidst the mountains in the town of Kranjska Gora, at the foothills of Vitranc and right next to a ski slope. Built in 1993, the a family-run property provides free WiFi is throughout. A very clean and quiet family operated hotel. Quality constructed with hard wood stairs, great bathroom fixtures and comfy beds. The breakfast is fantastic. The hotel has a small gym, and you can also book your own private use of the sauna (extra fee).

The guest house offers a seating area with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with bathrobes, slippers and walk-in shower. A fridge and minibar are also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the guest house, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels.

The modern restaurant at the guest house specialises in Italian cuisine, and is open for dinner and brunch. Our stay at Chalet Sofija totally exceeded our expectations (which are quite high), from the moment we arrived till the moment we had to leave. First of all, the location of the chalet is out of this world, with views that take your breath away from every angle you look, whether from the room, while enjoying a nice dip in the infinity pool or eating breakfast or dinner from the terrace. The photos do not do it justice, it is unbelievable how beautiful this place is. Secondly and not less important, the hospitality of the hosts, Pop and Aleksandra together with the Manageress Alenka was exceptional throughout our stay and they went out of their way to make us feel at home and that is how we felt during the whole of our stay there. To top it up, the food was expertly prepared and was one of the finest dining experiences we have encountered, exceeding the level of many Michelin star restaurants we have dined at. Pop’s innovative cooking presented us with amazing and delicious dishes with a twist, not only for dinner but also for breakfast. He also served us with very good Slovenian wines that went really well with the dishes served. And, if this was not enough, the room was huge, exquisitely and modernly decorated but perfectly fit with the surrounding nature and offered panoramic views over the surrounding mountains and forest, with a huge terrace from where we could enjoy this beautiful nature up close. I don’t think we will ever find an accommodation in Slovenia that comes even close to what we experienced at Chalet Sofija.
