Great self-contained until in the garden on the property. Just a few units, and the family live at the top of the garden. Everyone was very friendly - and I got to play with the two very cute but very different (!) dogs! And also the cute kids too! Breakfast lovely also. Main thing though is being able to walk to the bottom of the garden, down some steps and snorkel in some of the clearest water you will see! Siquijor is a beautiful island.

The only downside is that there’s not many selection of nearby resto , it’s about 15-20 mins tricycle ride to San Juan area where the lively resto are located

A grocery shop is just next to it. There is a nice swimming pool where you can swim. Our room on the ground floor has a fridge but my relative on the 4th floor said they don't have a fridge.

This recently renovated guest house is located 300 metres from Basdiot Beach and less than 1 km from Panagsama Beach. When staying at the guest house, guests can use private entrance. It was an amazing stay in Bernis Hostel. Clean and beautiful environment. They helped out in so many ways. Hooked us up with scooters in the middle of the night for rent and managed to get contacts for a cheap scuba diving experience. Not only that, I accidentally left my earbuds in the room when i checked out. Was already a good 15mins away from the hotel in the van headed to the next destination when they called and managed to convince the van driver to wait by the road side while they quickly brought the earbuds to me. Would definitely recommend to everyone for a stay in Bernis Hostel. Thanks everyone in Bernis Hostel.

Great value mopeds and breakfast. sunsets would have been great from the treehouse if the sun was out!
