At first, we were worried because we entered into quite an old residential area. However, the room iitself while priced slightly more than budget hotel but lower than normal hotel is equipped with mini fridge, haridryer, TV, wifi, water kettle, coffee, mug, water heater, free parking, really really clean and bigger than average room and toilet, a study table, wardrobe and mirror even better than some hotel priced more expensive. Definitely will recommend

Offering free WiFi access, it features comfortable rooms that are cooled with air conditioning. Great place to stay in Taiping, centrally located so it’s easy to access the local attractions and food places. Tricia, the host, was friendly and provided me with information on what to do and where to eat in the local area. The building has lots of character and you can feel the care that is put into the property by the owners.

Reception for telco very weak, but lucky host provide internet. Area very quiet
The price are so cheap, 3 bedroom with 3 bathroom only cost rm200 per nite, got washing machine so we can do laundry, the host also provide wifi inside the house. There is a little stall infront of the house that sells fresh sugar cane juice, coconut water & carbonated drinks in cups.
IWH was a great host! Responded very quickly, and was very accommodating to our needs/requests. Check-in and check-out instructions were super detailed and helpful. The apartment was very clean and well stocked. We could not have asked for a better location. Overall a wonderful place; we would stay here again easily!
I think my review title says it all! My room was quiet and cosy, the staff were always smiling and helpful when I asked something, and the hotel is in a great location near a variety of restaurants, right next to a Sunday morning street market, and about 10 minutes walk from the fascinating old town. Ipoh is an interesting small city to visit, and Pi Hotel is a good value base for your trip.
This unit is beautiful, very clean, comfortable, quiet and spacious. There's hot water in the shower and water pressure is also good. Owner is very thoughtful too. Check in process is easy and smooth. 1 unit free parking is provided. Perfect location in the city centre and walking distance to the famous food street and night market. There's also a famous club next door as well.
I enjoyed the stay at this location. The place was clean and quiet. It was very central to move about in the city centre, either walking or just driving. Very good place for a family vacation. Parking was available on-site. The security guard was helpful on site on helping with the instruction to obtain the access keys as well. The host was flexible to allow an early check in and later check out which was appreciated. I will recommend this stay.
Right beside Lost World of Tambun! Facilities looked awesome but didn’t have time to try them. Very secure. Unit was clean and had a nice view overlooking the theme park, with a quaint balcony. Washer and drying rack provided with detergent too - very important for us! Beds were very comfy. I want to stay here for a week instead of just one day! This area is away from the city centre and very relaxing, good for those looking for quiet and healing. We had a car so getting to places wasn’t an issue.

Great hostel! I supposed to stay 2 nights ended up staying for more than a week. Dawson the owner is really friendly, helpful and I had great conversions with him. He knows so much about the culture and Ipoh! Doorms are quiet, clean I had everything I needed. Food, coffee the staff and ambience is also nice. Also it was a perfect place for work, comfy chairs, tabels with plugs, chill music ☺️ I hope I can come back again!
One of the coziest rest house/hostel i’ve stayed in. It’s not the most perfect, but it has everything you need. Great location, great hospitality, in a quiet little town called Ipoh. Fyi, they have the coolest and most “dramatic” back door entrance.
