We stayed in 2 places in puerto Escondido , one at la playita and another guest house in la Punta area which is actually rated much higher on booking.com however we preferred playita rooms and facilities! Would recommend.

The guest house features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. one of the best rooms we have stayed in. the apartment was lovely. you can really tell that the hosts put good effort to make it comfortable and well equipped. we also learned that the hosts are making great efforts to make their Posada as sustainable as possible (ex: hearing the water with solar energy). it was clean and really comfortable. the kitchen was equipped with everything. what we appreciated the most is that they provided drinkable water. really needed with the heat in Mazunte. even it was really hot outside the room remained fresh. there was no need to use the airco that much. the location was great, right in front of the Tortuga Center.

The rooms are great, clean, very large, great big beds and fantastic balconies. But above all, the staff make the stay simply wonderful. They respond immediately to every request, rarely experienced so much care, especially from the new employee who looks after the guests on the beach. And above all, they immediately accommodated my request for the period of my stay without any complications and regardless of the booking change options. An absolute recommendation for a dream holiday.
