From arrival, Kishaba-san went out of his way to invite me to the local Kyuubon celebrations over the next few nights, and while there he introduced me to his family and a couple others. When I left to Naha and stayed at another hostel, I felt surprised by how much more comfortable and welcome I felt staying at Kishaba. Amenities are suitable, location is great, facilities are wonderful. The bed is comfortable, spacious, and private. Above all though, staying here made my trip to Ishigaki that much more memorable.

I've never felt more at home at any accomodation honestly, everything was clean, the owners are super nice, the house and the location are amazing, and the price is very affordable. Every evening the owners and guests get together for dinner and drinks, which is really fun. The staff speaks enough English that it is not a problem to stay there with no Japanese knowledge at all, but depending on the guests the conversation in the evening may be in Japanese.

The photos match exactly what the guest house looks like, it is clean, fresh and relaxing. It has everything you need for a short stay. The whole property is light and airy. Andy is super informative about where to visit on the islands, he gave us plenty of tips about the best snorkel spots each day.

At ゲートイン名護 all rooms are fitted with bed linen and towels. The accomodation is located at a very awesome location. The rooms are all facing the beautiful sea (except for those on 1st floor). It is also located near to nice food locations such as Blue Seal, A&W, McDonald's and other restaurants. The room is quite huge and the bed are very comfy! There are ample parking for those who are driving around Okinawa as well. The owner was very nice to us during the pre-check in and check in itself. Do note that there will be a note to contact him when you arrive at the front desk for check-in. The cafe on the ground floor is also the breakfast place. The owner of the shop is very friendly as well. Would recommend this place for those visiting Nago in Okinawa, especially if one of your destination is the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium~

Plus, the closest beach is just a short walk away and absolutely beautiful. If you're planning a trip to Miyakojima, I highly recommend staying at Koa.
