Situated a 15-minute drive from Yakushima Airport, La Isla Tasse is charming accommodation housed in a large American-style mansion. Free in-room Wi-Fi is available, and guests can unwind in a spacious lounge with comfortable sofas. Wonderful hosts, beautiful house and location. Shuichi and Chikako made out stay extra special and introduced us to this magical island. We can not wait to come back and stay with them again.

It has a lounge with a flat-screen TV and a DVD player, as well as a shared kitchen. The cosy, family feel of the place made my stay in Yakushima. The lady running the place was so nice and she prepared Onigiri for guests who had planned hikes on the island, which was really convenient. She also plans your sightseeing with you if you want, as she knows the bus schedules and the different things to see quite well. Met some really nice people at the guest house and shared an amazing hot pot on the last night. Tomarigi made my stay in Yakushima. Also, theres a supermarket about 5 minutes away by foot, which was really convenient.

The property offers a shuttle service and features a garden and picnic area. Great option for single female traveler to Yoron island. Hosts are very warm and welcoming people who will pick you up in the port with no additional charges. They will also give you great recommendations on what to see and where to eat on the island. For additional 1000 Yen you can have dinner which is absolutely worth it (the food is prepared by host, and it’s delicious). The bed was comfortable with socket, small light, and ventilator inside the capsule. The room was air-conditioned. Location is a bit far from the port but it is very close to many touristic spots including Yurigahama beach, Yoron Minzokumura, Limestone cave. It’s also just 1 min walk to the sea coast. There is a parking lot in front of the hostel. I highly recommend staying in this guest house! I had an incredible time there that I will never forget. Thank you very much ❤️
