Fyi if you want to watch the fishing with the birds, you can cycle to it quite easily. When facing up river, if you go to the right hand side and walk down the pebble beach to the shore, you get an amazing view!!

Offering a sun terrace and views of the garden, Tajimi Guest House is set in the middle of nature, 3 km from Tajimi Station. Nyakuichioji Shrine is beside the property and a mountain stream flows through the property premises. The property was beautiful and thoughtful. The mid-century furniture and beautiful ceramics on display made the accommodation feel very peaceful and homely. The doors opened up onto a peaceful garden with a creek running through it. Will definitely return next time we are in Japan. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly.

All attractions within walking distance. The owner is friendly and helpful with various recommendations make my stay fun and efficient. I won’t reveal where or what cause I don’t want long queues and crowds to be there. Will definitely stay again. Thank you for making my visit to Takayama a wonderful trip :)

We stayed for one night during the Takayama festival as a couple but it can accommodate more guests. The open-air bath was fun and easy to use with privacy.

The property is non-smoking and is located 41 km from Japan Taisho Village. this is the perfect stay in mag stay in magma. our host was incredibly friendly and made our stay very comfortable, giving us recommendations on where to eat and what to do during our stay. he also booked us a dinner spot at a local Michelin recommended restaurant we would have never found without him. the dinner was a chef private course and is highly recommended. the room was huge and felt very cozy. the shower and washing machine were a great delight to use. very clean and comfy. the location could have not been more perfect. right in the center of old-town magome. being able to walk alone on the streets in the morning before the first bus arrives is a truly priceless experience we had thanks to our stay here. would stay again!
