For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. simple but completely clean studio apartment with plenty of space for two people. It was warm and had a kitchen that was perfectly adequate to cook a meal. The bathroom was modern with a generously sized shower. There were two bathrobes as well as towels. It was quiet and with parking right outside. The house is up the hill from the harbour and it was a bit cold (snow everywhere) to walk to the hot pools on the shore so we took the car, but I would estimate a 10 min walk in summer.

The Icelandic Sea Monster Museum is a 2-minute walk away. Bíldudalur Golf Course is 1.7 km from Harbour Inn - Guesthouse. This was the best guesthouse during my stay in Iceland, well located with wonderful views on the fjord from the windows of my room. Spottlessly clean, the staff was nice and the breakfast divine. Late check in was not an issue at all.

Guesthouse Stekkaból’s rooms have a modern and neutral décor and bathroom facilities are shared. The staff. They made sure that we had an amazing time. They gave us tips on when to see puffins and when we went looking for them, they extended the hours of breakfast for us. The place is spotless and the breakfast is by far the best we had during almost 2 weeks in Iceland. Highly recommend this place.

The nearest airport is Isafjordur Airport, 299 km from the guest house. The accommodation is in the middle of beautiful nature, close to the thermal swimming pool, which can be reached by walk. There is also a very good restaurant very close. The accommodation was very clean and nicely equipped, we had everything we needed.
