A traditional Icelandic breakfast is served every day at Vogafjos Café, located in a cowshed 3 minutes’ walk from the guesthouse. Dinner based on local produce, such as smoked lamb and trout, is also served here. The farm was such a treat. The family runs the hotel, farm. and the restaurant. The hot pots were great for soaking, and a view of the farm animals and the older historic farm house. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with art work made by a great aunt of the family. It had an inviting atmosphere, and delicious food made by the family, all farm to table. A place I would love to stay again!

At the guest house, each unit has bed linen and towels. The place was magnificent. This was our best stay in Iceland thus far. The room was comfortable with a table outside and a view to a waterfall. We stayed later than any other during our visit to Iceland. I highly recommend staying here.

Bathrooms are shared. Very clean, great shared kitchen, bedroom large and comfortable. The staff is amazing especially Monika who helped me pay a parking fine. She went above and beyond being helpful. A really lovely person that helped me and made my stay so nice.

We would definitely stay again, happened to see also the Northern Lights on a clear and starry night.

Excellent well-stocked kitchen with at least 2 of everything (oven/stove, sinks, workspaces, cutting boards etc) and plenty of room for. many people to comfortable cook at the same time. Beautiful, big glass dining room looking out over lava rocks. Very welcoming staff. Clear posted rules so the place runs efficiently and well but no micromanaging staff. Also a place in the fridge and shelves outside it for extra food you can leave behind for someone else if you are traveling the next day and can't carry it with you. Very nice private showers!
