The view out on to the harbour was really fantastic, smell of salty water and seaweed, just like home. Beautiful dining area. I met the owner of the property, who was really nice to speak with. The staff were great too. The northern lights were just so beautiful.

The best place for the economy travelers. It is cheap, has fridge, cattle, and a running water right in the room, and a great view out of the window. And yeah, the smoothest check in process. If I would have to choose now between this guesthouse and a fancy network hotel for $300+ a night there I would choose this one

Finnstaðir guest house is 3 km from the town of Egilsstadir. Egilsstaðir Airport is 7 km from the property. the hosts were very nice.. we had a problem with out car and they lended us some oil. the house was big and nicely furnished and the jacuzzi was prepared uppon arrival

Seydisfjödur byitself very quite village, maybe in March because of not all opened infrastructure not completely ideal. But must be really really beautiful from spring - autumn. If you stay just a short time, take small suitcases, small stairs to first floor. But very romantic beautiful room!
