I had an excellent experience staying at Lhachik Guesthouse. I had only planned to stay for a few days prior to trekking, but do to an injury ended up staying for about weeks and am very happy I did. The owners are very welcoming and accommodating. They have a comfortable rooftop with great views and good chai is always available. Dinner is available at a reasonable price and is excellent. The rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable. It is located in a tranquil neighborhood within close walking distance to everything of interest. It will be the first place I look to stay next time I am in Leh.

Very accommodating and excellent hosts. Not many guests, as most people stay at their larger location across the street. I originally booked 3 nights online, but stayed again after I returned from a trek and they changed me the same excellent rate I got online.

It has a view and huge windows. The service and food in the restaurant is also outstanding. As a location, it is very close to the Leh market, almost 1 minute walking distance.

The property has garden views and is 2.7 km from Namgyal Tsemo Gompa and 5.2 km from War Museum. The property is non-smoking and is located less than 1 km from Soma Gompa. We had a very good stay at Raku. We stayed for a week and had a good experience throughout. The location is pretty good - a 10 min walk from the main market and close to the good eating places & cafes in the town. The surrounding area is peaceful (even though everything in Leh seems to be under construction :-). The views from the guest house (and the rooms) are simply amazing - you can see the snow-capped mountains in the distance, the tall green poplar trees, and their apple & vegetable garden. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We all had good sleep throughout. The food we had was homely and consistently good. Their cook came only in the last couple of days we were there but served delicious, hot, and fresh food. We also did some work here and the WiFi internet was pretty well most of the time. The best part of our stay was the excellent service provided by Sonam, his parents, and the crew. Right from the booking to check in to the stay and checkout, everything was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was an excellent value for money.

The property is a 1-minute walk from Namgyal Tsemo Gompa and a 19-minute walk from Soma Gompa. View,host,food ,staff everything was beyond expectation. Host help us in arranging the cab, permit for our travel. She even let us use her kitchen as we wanted to prepare some meal for ourselves. Felt like our second home. Love the place:-)

And, the staff helped us with booking both my room and taxi to various other destinations across Ladakh like Nubra, Pangong etc. Their knowledge and helpfulness in arranging taxis to explore the region made my trip truly memorable. I highly recommend Naazh guest House for its convenient location and the outstanding hospitality provided by its staff.
