The property owner Mr. Glen is very helpful and genuinely guides you with everything you need in Goa. Mainly I had the room from 16-18 but due to my kids school I had to change the dates 2days ahead and I was worried about last minute changes that if I could get the property to stay. Booking.com it said sold out but later I called the owner Mr Glen and told the issue and he was so kind to understand the issue and help me move my dates without any extra charges and this is only with him I think. Usually as we check in to any hotel they ask for the payment first but here till I myself opened up and asked he didn’t even ask for payment. This is very very rare. Situated in Palolem, 80 metres from Palolem beach, Hilias Retreat boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The property has also been recently renovated.

The guest house also offers car hire. Cola Beach 14km from Hilias Retreat, Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary is 34 km away, The nearest airport is Goa International Airport, 60 km from the property. Hilias and his wife are amazing hosts, they go above and beyond what is expected. The room was spotlessly clean, the mattress was extremely comfortable. There is a fridge in the room supplied with bottles of water and fizzy drinks (20 rupees each), air con, a kettle, mugs and spoons etc. The property is well maintained with parking and a few mins walk to the beach. We were booked for 2 nights but loved it so much we stayed the week. This place is a gem and under priced in my opinion.
