Steps away from the southern arun-arun, where locals congregate for food and socializing in the evening. Highly recommended.

You can serve your own coffee or ask for an extra tasty espresso. It really felt like home (for sure prettier than mine) and it was actually hard to leave. Already can't wait to come back! The President Suite has dining room with water dispenser and tableware,living room and private terrace to enjoy. Very interesting location, with antique and valuable architecture, like an art gallery with some nice furniture and pictures on the walls. Food was amazing, staff as well, very polite and helpful. Staff was very attentive to all our needs and extra, they helped us to buy a train ticket on our name on our last day.

It is out in a rural area well outside the city. Very peaceful and relaxing. Room was super clean and air conditioned with a large bathroom ( no a/c) and mini bar. ( Beer and cokes only) It has a small but good restaurant ( reserve meals in advance) and a lovely garden and pool. Looks out on rice fields with birds and nature all around. It is close.to a mosque and you can definitely hear the call to prayer. It added to the atmosphere for us and they turn down the loudspeaker for the 4am call to prayer!. You can borrow the bikes and ride through the working rice fields leased from the sultan. You certainly get to see authentic rural Javanese life but its not for those who want any kind of nightlife! Beer available but no wine, so bring your own if you want to relax over a glass while getting your authenticity!

Picked me up and dropped me off at the railway station, as well as to the Ramayana Ballet. They also let me use their bicycle, which is a great way to explore all the temples in the area.
