We loved the room, it was big considering the price — totally value for money. The bedding was really comfy too so we were able to rest well. We loved swimming in the pool, under the stars. Plus we had it all to ourselves. The location was also good, it was near a lot of the beach clubs and sites we wanted to visit.
Kadek was very accommodating and efficient when it came to our requests. An example I would like to highlight is my request for set up of a floral arrangement in the bathtub, he claimed that they’ve never done this for other guests before, but he found a way and did it for us. His service is what will make us stay at Agaru during our next trip to Bali.

Nestled in a quiet area with a great pools, its great location strikes the perfect balance between peaceful seclusion and easy access to the beach and many surfspots. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, providing personalized recommendations that added a special touch to my trip. The serene ambiance of the surroundings, coupled with the thoughtful room decor, offered a relaxing retreat after a day of exploration.
We stayed in the bamboo huts which were basic but comfortable for a great price. Lovely property with a great host and good quiet location. You can rent a motorbike from here for a good price to get around. Free fruit and coffee available every morning and kitchen areas if you want to make your own food. There is also a nice pool and workout area. Overall a great little place!

Fantastic property in a quiet location. The villa was very well equipped and the host Steve was very attentive with great communication during the booking process. Once we arrived at the property Steve made sure we were all good. Great restaurants and bars were just a short and very cheap taxi ride away. If you want to stay on the quiet side of Uluwatu, we thoroughly recommend Sukacita Hill
The hosts were so friendly, cheap bike rental and cheap laundry across the road. Great food in the food court across the road too. A quiet place to stay which was in the middle of Bukit- it’s great if you can ride a scooter as it’s central so only 30mins max to all beaches, though there is not much to do around the homestay itself. Very clean, great water pressure and hot water, great Wi-Fi (we watched films every night), we would definitely stay again.
Great location, next to many supermarkets and restaurants and far from the main roads, so it’s quiet and private. Helpful host, great facilities, cook / kitchenware utilities, hot water in the shower, good WiFi. Felt like home
Erna is a great host, very friendly, welcoming and serves a fantastic breakfast. It is located in a very quiet private street but is right by the main road. Very convenient location. Rooms have a nice garden view. Definitely would stay here again.
The staff there are super attentive and Nick was a great host. The aircon had problems on the first day and the girls at the front were quick to fix it. They were also kind enough to cut us up some fresh fruit to enjoy. We loved our stay! Nick has also compiled a list of cafes, restaurants and things to do around the area which were super useful as we were new to the area. We recommend doing the temple yoga which is about a 4-minute walk away!
This is a really amazing home stay, temper your expectations it’s not a resort. That said it was perfect for me, quiet, 2 pools, great location and the staff were amazing! As a solo traveller the host was all too happy to take me on his bike anywhere I needed to go, or Gojek was super simple to access, they can take you to beautiful beaches. The room was comfortable, my bed was good and the aircon worked well. This was one of my best Bali stay experiences.
