In 10 days of traveling around Java I had not stayed in a place that was so nice to be inside. The room was terrifically clean, the size ample, the air conditioner worked well, there was hot water, and a nice porch out front. My only suggestion would be to place a wall mounted electric fan on the front porch so that guests can be outside more comfortably

The rooms were clean and in a great location from the harbor! The host is a stand up guy, we had a great time and he is helping you with whatever he can! From booking trips to helping us figure out which boat to get and getting us a scooter! Really enjoyed our stay with them and would definitely go back there when visiting Karimunjawa!
Bhumi Kasuryan is in a great location very close to Borobudur temple, next to a rice fields, and it’s very quiet. Staff was very helpful organising pick up from airport and transport to Prambanan temples. The room was beautiful overseeing the rice fields. You can see Borobudur from the outdoor dinning area.You can take one of the bikes for free, the surroundings are beautiful. Highly recommend this place.
Lotus 2 guest house was fabulous. So beautiful, I loved the design of the separate mini-houses and the cool airy interiors. The bed was comfortable (my pillow was lumpy - could do with a new one there) and the temperature perfect. The tables with a view of the field for breakfast. Very atmospheric. Nuri and others were friendly, welcoming and accommodation. Our breakfast was excellent. We ate simple, local (cheap) dinner which we enjoyed. Don’t miss Borobodur temple!!! But book it early.
The place was really nice, with a island style, nice detail, comfortable cabin, it was perfect place for backpackers! They have a really nice beergarden and coffee shop. ITS AMazing as well!! John and Silvia also a great host! They always ready for any service, Will stay in this hhostel again surely!!
Love the location. You can see Borobudur from their nice open air dining area. The place itself nice too. Nice combination of traditional their house style yet good for international traveler. Good sense of home deco. From the villa you can enjoy rice field (maybe depend on the villa though) the owner, host, team are all great. Very kind, helpful. From early morning to late evening. Laurent and Etha are perfect hosts and were always present to help us with any problem, booking, reservations etc. The gardens were a dream, the cottages in the local style are just charming and breakfast was prepared with lots of love.
Great Location in Kota Lama. Staff is super friendly and pods were among the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in. It was very quiet so easy to get a good nights sleep.
Excellent value for the money. It's a quaint little boutique hotel in the heart of old town. While the rooms are small the beds are large and comfy. The staff was amazing and the breakfast was rather unique, you order from 6 choices and they also have fruits and cereal as well. Oh, and don't forget to try the soft server icer cream down near the lobby, yummy.
Loved our stay! Ries has been an amazing host to us and helped where needed. Location is great, about 10 minutes out of town, so nice and quiet, close to Sunset beach.
We really enjoyed our stay, and Rifad was a great host - friendly and easy to talk to, knowledgeable about the attractions and helpful (he even arranged some printing work for us). The location was great for exploring Solo, central, yet quiet and safe. The room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom, and there was space outside to sit and relax in a little garden. The delicious local breakfast and free coffee was a nice addition. We'll definitely choose Rifad's place for our next stay in Solo.
