The hosts were true gems, offering helpful advice on walks and tips for visiting the park. The meals served on-site were delicious, and we loved the self-service setup for drinks, coffee, cake, and fresh fruit – a really nice touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, perfect after a long day of walking, and soaking in the bath afterward felt like pure luxury. The courtyard and outdoor spaces were beautiful and peaceful. A must-try is the homemade cherry liqueur made by Dominic's grandma – it was fantastic! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly highly recommend this place.

Located in Jezerce, Guest House Plitvice Villa Verde is set 1.5 km from Entrance no. 2 to Plitvice Lakes National Park. The property is surrounded by pine trees and offers rooms with garden view and free WiFi access. We got a very comfortable room for one night stay, the room is not big but spacious enough for four adults! The owner is very warm and kind, he not only gave us tips in visiting the Plitvice lakes (which is super useful and saved us a lot of efforts to hike!), but also drove us to and picked us up from the park. We also like the delicious breakfast with fresh eggs and cheese from their farm, and the freshly made crepes taste amazing! We're really grateful to stay at Villa verde and will recommend to everyone who wants to visit Plitvice.

Having a restaurant onsite was a plus as was being so close to the park. The baby goat was an unexpected bonus as was archery.

Tom was the perfect host. Tom provided great information on things to see and do in the area, and served delicious breakfasts and dinners with beers and wine available. His beautiful home is located in a lovely peaceful spot in the countryside, just 10 minutes drive away from Plitvice National Park.

It’s only a few minutes from both Entrance 1 and 2. We arrived late but was still able to walk to the pizza place down the road. There’s a grocery store in case you wanted to stock up on snacks. The room itself was amazing. VERY spacious, nice kitchen, roomie bathroom, TV in living room and one of the rooms. We loved it.

Tip: the restaurant L'MAT has the best gnocci, 3 min walk from the accomodation.
