We visited Delphi and then drove to the little town of Kiriaki, about 12 Kms off the main road to Athens. This guesthouse is very well appointed, every detail is high quality. The beds are comfortable with lovely pillows, windows with doors and screens, a beautiful large bathroom. We stayed in a suite with two bedrooms for 100E, for two of us, just one night on our way to Athens airport to fly home. The woman who owns the guesthouse is friendly and welcoming, though does not speak English. She made a beautiful breakfast, the leftovers of which we packed up for lunch, and she offered us foil to wrap up the food. We walked to the town square, about 4-5 mins walk, and spent the evening sitting in the square and watching children play, families hang out, the old men sitting together, and couples and groups sitting at other tables. It was a Friday night but also good weather, very lively and heartwarming.

Our hostess, Nena, was warm, welcoming, and immensely helpful in all respects: she generously offered tips, advice, and information on historical sites in the area, local food venues, parking, and more. Our experience was especially enriched by her extensive knowledge of local history and heritage. The accommodation is really high-quality at an affordable price. The room was spacious and cosy, and nicely stocked with a breakfast/coffee tray. The guesthouse itself is located at the heart of the town, only a short walk from the centre/ high street. This is an establishment not only with all practical conveniences, but with a personality. We would definitely stay at Ioanna Arachova again -- we highly recommend it!!

The seafront Elaia is located in Galaxidi, just 10 metres from the nearest beach and 300 metres from an organised beach. Built among a lush garden, it offers free WiFi access in all areas. The archaeological site of Delphi lies within 30 km. the owner was hospitable, very kind and very friendly. the apartment respected everything that was in the presentation description. fantastic breakfast with homemade, genuine and obviously delicious products. I absolutely recommend this property if you want to stay in Galaxidi, have your privacy, spend the right amount, be close to a pleasant little beach. Galaxidi is easily accessible by car from Elea Guesthouse: everything perfect and flawless. In particular the owner George (I don't know if it's written well in Greek;)) is a helpful, warm and friendly person.
