The beds very comfy. It had a very nice balcony, panoramic view from three sides; with large patio doors opening to the front balcony. The breakfast menu offered a great selection and everything was nicely cooked and presented. However, I kept the best for last. The hotel restaurant where on Saturday evening we have live music, two excellent players (one guitar and voice and one bouzouki) treated us to a lovely musical night, filled with Rembetiko and Entexno Laiko repertoire. The combination of excellent food and music kept us entertained until after midnight (we were the last ones to go). It is therefore without any hesitation that I recommend this hotel for your stay and try their restaurant at least once; you will be really happy with the service.

Featuring a garden and views of city, Petrounis Hotel is a guest house situated in a historic building in Areopolis, 11 km from Caves of Diros. The property has inner courtyard and quiet street views. The guest house features family rooms. We loved everything about the property. It has a nice feel, it is centrally located, quiet, and the rooms are immaculate. But most of all, we liked Petrounis and Chrysanthi, who made us feel so welcome.

All units are equipped with a kettle and a private bathroom with a shower, while selected rooms come with a fully equipped kitchen equipped with kitchenware. At the guest house, the units include bed linen and towels. The location is perfect. The beach in front of Ktima Zaxarias is amazing. Giorgos is genuine host and very helpful. Clean and fully equiped apartment. I highly recommend staying here. Bravo!

But the most important thing was the owner of this property who gave as value information about the area, he helped as with a issue concerning our car so we managed to continue our trip. Lovely home from home, with a marvellous host, Katerina, who was so helpful with local knowledge and suggestions as well as sharing a few tasy morsels with us. It was a spur of the moment idea to stay over, rather than just do a day trip as we originally planned. We will cretainly back and hopefully for longer next time.

The property features mountain and garden views. The guest house has family rooms. This guest house deserves 5 stars. The apartment can accommodate comfortably a family of 4. It has a small kitchen but we didn’t use it since we stayed for only one night. As well, they offered us a nice complimentary breakfast in there restaurant. Politimi the owner, is very sweet, professional and helpful. After showing us the apartment she gave us Monemvasia’s old town map and advised us about the places to visit. It was awesome. From Cyrenia guesthouse we took the taxi for 4€ arriving at the Monemvasia’s Citadel and in the evening we came back walking. (Very nice stroll) The Monemvasia’s old town is a lovely place to be seen. I highly recommend this perfect guest house and thank you Politimi.
