It is a beautiful hotel in the centre of Areopolis but still very quiet and peaceful. The bedroom was very comfortable with everything you need. The highlight of our stay was our meeting with the owner, Petrounis. He was so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Our trip in the Mani will stay forever associated with Petrounis and his hospitality.

Our terrace was huge and we enjoyed watching the sunrise from there as recommended by our host! The bedroom is spacious and comfortable and we slept really well. Good sized bathroom with two sinks and a big shower. You can walk into Monemvasia in 25 mins so no need to worry about finding space in the main car park. Really friendly host who gave us great recommendations for dinner and how to get to Elafonisos island. Would highly recommend this place for a peaceful and quiet stay within easy reach of the bustle of Monemvasia.

Situated 11 km from Caves of Diros, Grandpa's home offers air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. The property has mountain and garden views. The guest house features sea views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. We had a wonderful time staying in the historic fortified settlement in the centre of Areopoli. The location was fantastic - so close to the museum, shops and restaurants. We stayed in a separate private apartment within the courtyard of the family home. We felt extremely privileged to have the opportunity to stay with Nickolas and Stavroula and have an authentic experience of Greek family life. The terrace where we had our breakfast and drinks in the evening was private with wonderful views of the coast and traditional Maniot towers. Nickolas and Stavroula were very hospitable and helpful.
