Beautifully decorated, thoroughly cleaned, a fabulous nights sleep and breakfast was exceptional (Compliments to the Chef!!). Daryl was very welcoming, as were the front house staff through to housekeeping. You will not be disappointed when you stay here!

Situated in Sunderland, within 1.5 km of Seaham Beach and 6.5 km of Stadium of Light, Albion Boutique Guest House features accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive. There is a private entrance at the aparthotel for the convenience of those who stay. The aparthotel has family rooms. The apartment looks far nicer in person. It’s such a beautiful place with a very warm hearted host. The room is also very spacious. We had a very good time, and will surely use the same apartment next time we visit Sunderland.

Good location for an event we were attending at the Rugby Club. Very secure with coded entrance and key safe box. Spacious room, clean and comfy with towels and linen provided. Good sized en suite shower room. Great to have the option of a shared lounge/kitchen area as well. Plenty of places to eat/drink right on the doorstep.

Less than 10 minutes’ walk from South Shields’ beach and Ocean Beach Pleasure Park, this 3-star guest house offers free Wi-Fi access. South Shields Metro Station is also within a 10-minute walk of Beechwood Guest House. I had a the most pleasant stay at Beechwood Guesthouse and Rez, who runs the property, has been extremely helpful looking after us and making this an excellent holiday. The cooked breakfast served was absolutely fabulous and extremely delicious. All in all I would strongly recommend this place to everyone as there are only six roms available which means it does not get crowded and consequently you can have a very relaxing holiday. I will most definitely come back and stay in this lovely place.

For guests visiting South Shields for training purposes, the South Tyneside Nautical College and the Sea Survival Centre are a 10-minute walk away from the guest house. The property is well located in a quiet street, close to Ocean Rd. Paul the host is friendly and welcoming. Our room was warm , comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent and very good value for money.

The York House has a quiet location in the centre of Whitley Bay. The restaurants and bars are only a short walk from the hotel. The host Michael was very welcoming. Always there to answer questions and provide suggestions and ideas. Breakfast was great and he took great care re our daughter who needed gluten free options. Definitely recommend and will come back.
