The evening meals and the breakfast were very good, all the food was of a good quality and cooked well. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. As the weather was cold in the evening the owner put the heating on for us.

Canoeing is available on the river, while horse riding is available nearby. Great location to do lake walk, canoe or paddleboard right out the front of the accommodatiin. Fantastic breakfast huge selectiin and super nice staff at breakfast and check in.

Brandon Lodge is a professionally converted 19th-century building within the city boundaries, 1 mile from the centre, 2 miles from the train station and within walking distance of a frequent bus route. the breakfast and the tea in the room was wonderful! Nice guests too. Monique was so helpful.
