I loved the little extras, there was a Christmas tree in our room, my little boy loved it. The complimentary drink was a lovely touch. The breakfast was great for it only being continental, great selection of breads and fruit, yogurt etc. The views were beautiful, a great location. Only a few minutes drive into town but felt like we were a million miles away. The host was a lovely guy, very welcoming and friendly. Asked us throughout our stay were we OK, warm enough etc. The rooms were toasty warm, we were there in December so it was great to get back into our rooms knowing the beds were so comfy and warm. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be returning.

There is free off-road parking in front of house. The guest house is a 7-minute walk to the Bangor (Down) train station and is close to shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Great host, good enough location and a good atmosphere throughout. Felt very welcomed.

The property features a bar, as well as a terrace with barbecue facilities, and provides guests with on-site private parking free of charge and bicycle rental services to explore the surroundings. The facilities were indeed wonderful -- but more importantly, one could not find as genial and helpful hosts as Brendan and Martina. They made the extra effort -- and then some -- to make sure their guests were well taken off. So very much appreciated.

All suites feature traditional rustic, stone-clad walls and sloped ceilings. They are equipped with a kitchen, which includes a dining area, a cooker and a fridge. The lounge area features a flat-screen TV and a leather sofa. Think no further. This place is outstanding, beautiful and filled with great people. One of the best places I‘ve ever been. 10/10!!

The Cuan Boutique Hotel is a family-run guest inn with good food and rooms with a digital TV and free internet. It is located in the conservation village of Strangford, on the shores of Strangford Lough. Absolutely quality room..staff were very helpful and friendly. The "Steven Omelette" on Sunday morning was wonderful.

Shelleven Guest House is a Victorian property with great charm and period features throughout, providing luxurious accommodation and dining in a warm relaxed atmosphere. The property was rated as 4-star accommodation by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board. The staff were terrifically friendly, remembered your name you felt like family. It was scrupulously clean, in the room and common areas. The rooms were well finished and included shower gel etc. The single bed was a 3/4 so very roomy. Overall nothing disappointed. The breakfast was fabulous, I had the full Irish, and really didn’t need to eat much more in the day.

Cairn Bay Lodge was named 'Guesthouse of the Year' in 2006 and 2007 by NI Tourism. Friendly team, exceptional room, breakfast off the charts good! Super healthful when my suitcase went missing (from departure airport) and then assisting when I needed to do laundry.
